I’ve read and loved science fiction since I was in seventh grade. So, it’s not surprising that now I both write and review various science fiction books. Dystopian is my favorite subgenre because it shows our foolishness without flinching. It warns us through vivid imagery how we might annihilate ourselves or how we may survive the worst that we can throw at one another. Dystopian is the cry in the night alerting us to danger.
